Advocate, Senior Associate

Krzysztof Sowiński deals with legal issues and civil and business procedures. He specialises in advising on current corporate affairs, including selecting optimal operating form and the formation, functioning, transformation, merger, demerger and liquidation of business entities.

Krzysztof advises on transactions of purchase and sale of enterprises representing both the sellers and buyers, at all stages of such projects. He is a regular member of transaction teams conducting legal analyses and due diligence investigations into companies. Moreover, Krzysztof has practical experience in competition protection law, including drafting notices of the intention to concentrate, filed with the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

He has authored and co-authored various legal opinions concerning the impact of the capital market of the European Union (MAD II/MAR, MiFID II/MIFIR, AIFMD) on the Polish legislation.

Krzysztof has also participated in a number of seminars concerning the law governing capital markets, business law and corporate governance.

Before he joined DeBenedetti Majewski Szcześniak in 2017, he worked in other renowned law firms, both Polish and international.

Advocate entered on the list maintained by the Warsaw Bar Association.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University.
