We are pleased to announce that Prof. dr hab. Jaroslaw Majewski has been appointed as a member of the Criminal Law Codification Commission.
He received the appointment on April 4, 2024 from the hands of Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar.
The previous Criminal Law Codification Commission completed its work in 2016.
The competencies of the newly-established CCC will include the development of regulations in the field of broadly defined substantive, procedural and executive criminal law, fiscal criminal law and misdemeanor law.
In addition, the area of competence of the NCCP will also include a number of peri-code laws concerning criminal law matters, such as the Law on Liability of Collective Entities for Criminal Offenses.
