Rafał Poniewierski specializes in criminal law and representing clients in civil and commercial procedures.
His area of expertise includes, in particular, criminal aspects of business transactions, including market risk and the risk of infringements of criminal provisions. So far, he has represented clients in matters raising social concerns and public debate. For instance, he has advised members of the management boards of companies from the financial sector.
Rafał has acted in numerous civil and commercial procedures concerning indemnities, disputes between undertakings and liability involving members of the management boards.
He represents clients before courts of all instances, including the Supreme Court and administrative courts.
He has many years’ experience in law firms, and has been with DeBenedetti Majewski Szcześniak since 2010.
He qualified as an advocate in 2009.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University and the American School of Law of Warsaw University, organized in cooperation with the University of Florida – Levin College of Law.
